An awesome publication in Topeka I
would love to work for someday is seveneightfive Magazine. They cover all the
nightlife and entertainment in town, and they do it in a fun, and carefree
way. Every time I look at one of their
magazines I have the desire to be part of designing it, writing in it, or both.
It’s always so eye-catching and at the same time, relevant to my life in
Topeka.
Their main
focus is arts and entertainment, and as the A&E editor for the Washburn
Review, I find myself drawn to other arts and entertainment publications. When
I first found seveneightfive about 3 years ago, I was so excited to see it in
Topeka because I had just moved here from Phoenix, AZ where there were many
magazines like it, but I had not ever seen one in Topeka. When I returned home
to Topeka and found seveneightfive, I was excited and pleased that my home town
was stepping it up a notch, and catching up with other bigger cities. I look
forward to the future of seveneightfive and hope to be part of it someday.
