Hello all -
My name is Michael Vander Linden and I am a Freshman from Burlington, Kansas. For any of you KU fans, yes I knew Tyrel Reed.
I originally started my journey at Washburn as a Biology Major, but after a semester of being tortured in Chemistry and Bioloy Lab, I decided that probably wasn't the best way to go. I work for the Washburn Review Newspaper as a writer and a videographer, and I love that job. That is why I am thinking about moving to Mass Media Major.
The only difficult part about this is I came out of high school with 68 credit hours, which means I'm technically a Junior in college. This definitely speeds up the process of knowing what I want to be in life.
I look forward to starting my journey in the Mass Media Department and getting to know everybody.
