Hi, my name is Patricia Peterson, but you can all call me Tricia. I used to hate being called that but now that I am grown up, I realize it's a mouth full to say "Patricia" all the time.
I originally aspired to be a chef, so I attended Le Cordon Bleu in Scottsdale, AZ and received my Associates in Occupational Studies in 2009. I came back to Topeka because this is where my family is, and immediately enrolled at Washburn in Fall 2009 as a Mass Media major, because I have always wanted to be a journalist. So now I am currently pursuing my BA in Contemporary Journalism so one day I can be a food critic, and writer. I enjoy both cooking and writing, and hope to combine the two someday.
I currently work for the Washburn Review as the Arts and Entertainment Editor, and before that I was a writer. I am married and my husband is a chef too, we actually went to culinary school together and he still works in the field. I look forward to the upcoming semester and getting to know all you!
