I'm Ron Burgundy? Just kidding, my names Tate Lawson and this is my second semester here at Washburn being a freshmen. Born and raised in Topeka so didn't go to far from home (Actually I still live with mom). I am currently undecided as to what I want to major in. So far Law enforcement and broadcasting are my interest and then possibly a minor in psychology. I've been broadcasting since sophomore year at Seaman High School where I would anchor the news, do interviews, make movies, and during my senior year I had my own segment called "What really grinds my gears" which was pretty funny and I really enjoyed doing. Coffeyville Community College actually gave me a full ride to do broadcasting at the school because I won the Amy Leitz scholarship so I kind of think broadcasting is apart of me.
Real quick my hobbies include friends and bowling basically. Bowling has been a passion of mine since about seven years old and I still love it today. I have shot two 300 games which has been a major achievement in my life but still haven't got the 800 series. Anyways I look forward to meeting everyone and hope you have a great semester, thanks Tate.
